Ragdoll Cat - Colours and Patterns

Ragdolls are a "Pointed " cat, in that their points (ears, face, limbs and tail) are a darker colour than their body colour. These Point colours can be Seal, Chocolate, Blue, Lilac, Torti, Red and Cream.
Then to add interest, God annointed Ragdolls with the "White Spotting Factor", which adds an extra sparkle to the above colours - overlaying the Point colour with white to give three different Patterns: Pointed, Mitted or Bi-Colour.

As it is sometimes confusing with the different Ragdoll patterns and colours, I have put up some photos so you can see the difference at a glance. Also, Ragdolls are born all white and their colour deepens as they grow, sometimes they are not their darkest until 2-3 years of age, so I have included baby photos, too

The Cream colouring is actually a lovely soft ginger colour.

And here are some Tortis.
Tortis have a combination of either Blue or Seal mixed with Cream (light ginger) on their Points. They come in the three different patterns: Pointed, Mitted and Bi-Colour.
